ABOUT ME

I was born in Hamburg, Germany, a city best known for its part in the rise of the Beatles, and designers Karl Lagerfeld and Jil Sander.

Like so many journalists and creative writers, I longed to see the world. In 2005 I packed suitcases, young child and husband and went off to Christchurch, New Zealand.

Fast forward almost 8 years, two novels and thousands of earthquakes later, and you find me in the United Kingdom, hard at work as a fledgling novelist and screenwriter. Throw in the occasional attempt at stage plays, and you get the picture.

When I'm not busy arguing with characters in my head or pounding on the keyboard, I'll be fussing over the cat, or browsing in a bookstore, or sitting in a cinema.

Or I might be busy throwing a few things into a suitcase and exploring some more.
